Tech Gadgets Worth the Extra Dough

It’s understandable that you would be concerned with keeping a car purchase as inexpensive as possible. However, many of us just get wide-eyed when it comes to gadgets. While many tech accessories aren’t worth purchasing, some are actually may be worthwhile.

Here are a few that might be right for you.

  • Navigation system. If you’re driving in an unfamiliar area and your MapQuest printouts just aren’t helping you, you’ll need a good navigation system to help you get to your destination. Adding a navigation system usually doesn’t cost all that much, and it’s something you could get quite a bit of use out of. Even if you don’t need it for directions, it will help you with traffic updates and potential points of interest.
  • iPod hookups. A lot of cars still don’t come standard with MP3 plugins. If you like to listen to your iPod in the car, this is a much better option than buying an adapter that tunes into blank radio stations. You’ll never have to deal with changing stations to avoid the static.
  • Hands free phone connection. A bluetooth connection can come in handy for certain types of people, particularly traveling businessmen. It allows you to keep your hands on the wheel and your eyes on the road while still being able to take any important calls that come in.

Can you think of any other gadgets to add to the list that are actually worth the extra price?
